Main purpose of job
Responsible for creating, executing, delivering, and optimising comprehensive and effective marketing strategies for Cameron House, Cameron Lodges and the sub brands across core revenue streams, channels and segments aligned to the tactical objectives, goals, and overall vision for the resort.
The Marketing Manager will mentor and work closely with the marketing department to support the core disciplines across owned, earned, and paid media and collaborate with key stakeholders with a focus on driving revenue growth and profitability, increasing brand visibility and enhancing the guest experience.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the core responsibilities of the role include:
- Developing and implementing effective, creative and 'customer focussed' marketing strategies, on property programming concepts, guest journeys and tactical campaigns that align with the overall business objectives and demonstrate goals, targets and KPI's across traditional and digital channels
- Support in the mentorship and development of a team of 3 marketing specialists, reporting into the Marketing Director
- Working closely with key stakeholders to develop plans to maximise revenue and grow direct market share
- Collaborate, process and manage workflow between property operations, designers, copywriter and deadlines to maintain a high standard of visual and written content that aligns with brand guidelines.
- Collate and manage rolling experience deck for all property experiences.
- Accountable for supporting creative concept creation, collateral and visual content for rooms, food and beverage, meetings and events, spa, golf and gift voucher revenue streams
- Leverage CRM tools to analyse, segment, and target audiences, driving personalisation, retention, and conversion through email, social, paid media, and on-property activations.
- Utilise digital analytics to measure campaign performance, optimise spend, and inform data-driven decisions that improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Track and monitor marketing budget expenses, ensuring that the department performs and delivers within given budgets.
- Develop and maintain strong pro-active relationships and working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including digital, PR and website agencies.
- Research and Monitor marketing trends, regional and international competitive set, new and improved tools and applications specific to the hotel industry and target markets
- Attending regular and key operational and stakeholder meetings where required to ensure there is alignment in overall approach, objectives and goals
Personal characteristics and competencies

Essential:
- Proven experience in marketing management, ideally within hospitality or a customer-centric industry.
- Strong background in CRM platforms, digital marketing strategy, and data analytics.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and leadership skills.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role and a strategic thinker with a strong background in digital marketing and brand management with a marketing-based qualification or degree
- Excellent communication and strong copywriting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Experience in managing marketing budgets and analysing performance metrics.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding in marketing software such Adobe Pro, Photoshop, In design Microsoft platforms
- Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools
- Creative and innovative thinker with a genuine desire to deliver excellent customer experience through innovative and unique travel marketing campaigns (digital & traditional)
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Flexibility to adapt to changing market trends and business needs
- Numerate and analytical with the ability to produce reports and derive valuable insights and analysis
- Experience using a CRM for reporting, research and insight purposes
- Proficient in learning to use different programmes, software and platforms quickly and efficiently
