Marketing Manager

Department: Growth

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: London

Description

InvestorHub is a global tech startup driven by passionate leaders with deep expertise in product development, technology, and financial markets.

Since opening our London office in late 2023, we've been on a consistent growth trajectory. We believe in challenging the status quo, keeping things simple, staying focused, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

At InvestorHub, we're addressing one of the biggest challenges in capital markets today: the rapidly evolving landscape of investing. Individual (or "retail") investors are becoming the lifeblood of the capital markets, yet many public companies lack the tools, knowledge, or resources to engage them effectively. Our all-in-one solution empowers companies to forge direct relationships with their investors, enhancing engagement and communication.

If you're looking to join a company that values hard work, diverse thinking, and an environment that promotes respect, accountability, and heart, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Marketing Manager to own our UK growth strategy. This role will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies to support InvestorHub's growth and market presence, ensuring we achieve ambitious revenue targets. As a key member of a growing start-up, you will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams, particularly Sales, to align marketing efforts with our overall business goals. You'll have the autonomy to implement your ideas while being supported by a team that values innovation and collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of our three growth channels-community building, event activation, and partnerships. Optimise these channels while identifying and developing additional growth opportunities to drive pipeline health and market visibility.
  • Partner with Sales to refine messaging, develop impactful case studies, and improve prospect and lead flows.
  • Lead community-building efforts to deepen engagement and deliver high-value experiences for clients, prospects, and broader market stakeholders.

About You

You will thrive in this role if you are creative, analytical, and passionate about shaping marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.

  • Proven track record of delivering marketing initiatives that achieve brand, acquisition, and business goals.
  • A strategic thinker who translates big-picture goals into actionable, measurable plans.
  • Autonomous and comfortable in fast-paced environments, with strong prioritisation skills across multiple workstreams.
  • Exceptional communicator, crafting compelling messaging and positioning that resonates with clients and prospects.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse marketing metrics and make data-backed decisions.
  • Familiarity with capital markets is a bonus but not essential.
  • A background in business development and lead generation is highly desireable.
  • Based in London, with availability to work in-office (5 days/week) and travel domestically as needed.

Attention to detail will be critical in this role. Please include in your cover letter a creative or non-traditional growth hack you would use to generate new conversations with CEOs and Board members of listed companies. Avoid strategies that focus on content marketing, email marketing, partnerships or paid advertising.

The Journey

Within 3 months

  • Get up to speed on the business, spend time with your team and the whole business;
  • Become familiar with the capital markets space to gain a deeper understanding of our client's needs and the challenges they face;
  • Start executing on initial community and event-based strategies, and use your experience to refine and add value early on;
  • Empathise with the challenge of being a leader in listed markets by attending our Community events;
  • Shadow the Client Success and Sales teams, and other managers to understand the business at a deeper level.

Within 6 months

  • Own an end-to-end growth strategy that drives a steady pipeline of qualified leads;
  • Start contributing to the company's growth by refining the existing channels, and testing and learning new ones;
  • Deepen the Community across prospects, clients, and partners;

  • Work with the AU GTM team to get the message right, align on social use and plan for continued growth.

Long term

  • Stay abreast of SaaS marketing trends, changes and challenges to be the continued source of authority in the business;
  • Take ownership of the Direct to Investor movement, build subject matter expertise and be the voice of the customer;
  • Work with peers in other organisations to lean on and learn from each other - utilise our VC co-portfolio companies here;
  • Help collate prospect and client feedback, influencing our messaging as well as the product itself;
  • Take things on and give them a go. We encourage people to take a shot, and reward people willing to continue their own development.

Benefits

  • Competitive remuneration.
  • Generous stock options for employees at all levels.
  • Weekly lunches, monthly team nights out, quarterly team events and an annual 2-day off-sites.
  • Annual trip to our head office in Melbourne, Australia.
  • Annual learning and development budget for every employee to spend on books, training courses, exams, or anything else which helps you progress at work.
