Marie Curie is the UK's leading end-of-life charity. We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, the only provider across all 4 nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, while providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end-of-life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness, they're likely to die from.
The Marketing Manager role leads on the planning, delivery, optimisation and reporting for key marketing and communications campaigns, projects and year-round cross-channel brand activity, which aim to make Marie Curie relevant to new audiences. You will also partner closely with key stakeholders across Caring Services, Policy & Research and Fundraising to ensure campaigns, activities and messaging align with the brand.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and implementation of communication and marketing strategies, campaigns, projects and initiatives to increase the relevance of Marie Curie and the importance of a better end of life for all.
- Ensure audience insights and research are at the heart of all campaign strategy and planning, working towards a person-centric vision and better segmented approach to marketing activities.
- Closely monitoring results across all campaigns to ensure that KPIs are on track and adjust plans as appropriate
- Managing external agencies, suppliers and freelancers as required for the development and implementation of all plans.
- Developing and overseeing marketing budget ensuring that campaigns and projects are completed within agreed budgets.
Key Criteria:
- Experience in a strategic marketing role in a B2C environment with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Experienced in developing and delivering multi-channel digital and offline campaigns that meet agreed targets and outcomes.
- Strong expertise in reporting on metrics, insights and adapting plans in uncertain market conditions.
- Experience of briefing in and managing projects across internal departments and external agencies including marketing agencies, media owners and suppliers.
- Proven ability to work and communicate with a wide range of people at all levels in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands and pressures.

Salary: £35,530 - 39,474 depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Based: This is a hybrid role and can be based anywhere within the UK. You will be expected to travel to our Embassy Gardens offices occasionally. For those within commutable distance to London, you will have the option of working flexibly between home and in our modern open plan offices in Embassy Gardens (1 -2 days per week in office).
