Marketing Manager

We currently innovate, design, develop, and build multi-sport simulators for training and entertainment industries. We have a great pipeline of products and features we are working on over the next few years. There will be many aspects of the business to get involved in within our highly dynamic, passionate, and ever-growing team.

As a Marketing Manager you will plan and execute all-around marketing activity for the the brand. Based in the Nottingham office, the role is central to the business, working alongside sales, technology, and operational teams to ensure effective planning and execution of the marketing plan.

You will be managing social media, external PR, content marketing and email marketing & CRM.

Key Responsibilities

Innovation

  • Drive innovation by expanding technology and sports content, ensuring inclusivity and expertise in baseball, tennis, and cricket.
  • Innovate approaches for deeper client insights to inform content creation.
  • Foster team reflection on client journeys to envision growth opportunities.
  • Explore both conventional and unconventional solutions for new campaigns.

Brand Development

  • Ensure uniform brand messaging across channels, adhering to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Manage website development to effectively communicate brand and offerings.
  • Tailor diverse social media content to each platform, emphasising multi-sport, diversity, and business updates.
  • Craft compelling content across various media to distinguish the brand and engage future clients.
  • Design materials aligning with the brand guidelines for physical branding, social/decks and internal concepts
  • Execute localised, low-cost PR initiatives through sporting and social connections to foster positive CSR impact.
  • Create visually distinct images that simplify complex concepts, setting the business apart.

Product Delivery

  • Maintain high performance when facing ambiguity, pressure, and uncertainty.
  • Achieve qualified lead targets via effective marketing strategies
  • Take a structured approach to prioritise tasks, aligning with managerial guidance. Manage CRM platform and enhance communications with smaller databases
  • Forge strong alliances with stakeholders to develop effective campaigns and features. Ensure high-quality content across platforms to support the commercial team.

Team

  • Collaborate effectively with each department
  • Provide constructive challenges and be open to receiving them.
  • Act as a project manager for marketing channels, overseeing planning, resource allocation and progress.
  • Assist in on-boarding new starters to the team and provide feedback.
  • Meet deadlines and set timelines for tasks.

Candidate Requirements

Experience

  • Equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience. Innovative thinker: Thorough understanding of the digital marketing industry, including content marketing and PR
  • Skilled in direct-response marketing with the ability to craft integrated marketing strategies across all channels. Brand Understanding
  • Pay close attention to maintaining consistent brand messaging and visual identity across various marketing channels
  • Understand the importance of creativity when creating diverse and engaging social media content
  • Can run the entire end-to-end B2B marketing funnel with an excellent grasp of brand-building and lead-generation activities.
  • High-level understanding of Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator & After effects).

Project Management skills

  • Experienced with Hubspot or a similar CRM platform.
  • Comfortable analysing marketing activities and data to understand what worked and what didn't and why.

Collaborative •

  • Comfortable using a range of tools to execute, measure, and report on marketing campaigns including email platforms and relevant digital tools.
  • Openness to help the business in other departments in busy periods not directly linked to Marketing.
