About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Head of New Business - Automotive to lead our growth in the sector. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting high-value prospects into long-term agency clients. This is a hands-on role that requires strategic thinking, strong relationship management, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth.

What You'll Be Doing
• Identify and target new business opportunities within the automotive sector.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to attract and convert prospects.
• Lead the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to contract negotiation and onboarding.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to tailor pitches and proposals that align with client needs.
• Represent WAA Chosen at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
• Track and report on business development performance, providing insights and recommendations.

What We're Looking For
• Proven track record in business development or sales within the automotive sector preferably from an agency or marketing services background
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry trends and key players.
• Strong knowledge and experience of sector procurement processes
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels, from mid-management to; leadership
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and drive growth.
• Results-driven mindset with experience in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
