As the brand continues to grow globally, we are looking for an exceptional Marketing Director to lead and evolve the marketing vision for Sexy Fish across multiple markets.
The Role
The Marketing Director will be responsible for shaping and delivering the global marketing strategy for Sexy Fish, ensuring brand consistency while driving commercial performance, guest engagement and cultural relevance across all locations.
This is a senior leadership role for a highly creative and commercially minded marketer who understands luxury, lifestyle, hospitality and brand storytelling. The successful candidate will oversee brand marketing, digital, social, PR alignment, partnerships, campaigns, guest engagement and new opening support, working closely with operational and creative teams to elevate Sexy Fish's presence globally.
Key Responsibilities
• Detailed knowledge of all the projects that are ongoing for all sites and what the status is
• Understand any key challenges of the day to day to support the team and business stakeholders in key areas.
• Have a detailed understanding of the financial goals for each site whilst ensuring all budgets/costs are managed
• Responsible for the protection of the brand
• Key liaison between operations and the central marketing function
• Overarching management of the department infrastructure and identifying key opportunities to drive efficiencies and cost saving.
• Manage all staff grievances or issues, as well as reviews and continue to maintain and develop the team with limited staff turnover
• Driving revenue through campaigns to achieve KPIs and revenue targets
• Post campaign reporting and summary with key learnings and sharing with the business stakeholders
• Working with the creative team to produce innovated campaign ideas that can be delivered through a multi-channel and implementation marketing strategy
• Manage the relationship with the wider business communicating the brand activity and plans
• Partnership marketing negotiation and planning
• On-going idea generation on how to create and deliver innovative brand activity to increase the profile and awareness of the brand
• Weekly team cross departmental meetings to ensure all departments are aligned to the key actions and timelines
• Attending weekly/monthly Ops or GM meetings to give an overview of activity and key focus, this should be based on the revenue update and the status of the sites by their budget strategy. The objective of this meeting for you is to ensure that all the parties in the room are engaged in the activities and agreeing how they will support, and to listen to any feedback or comments
• Budget management including monthly review of accruals, status of the budgets, areas for savings and efficiencies prior to the P&L being closed end of month with the Group Marketing Director
Key Skills
• Organisational skills: Managing workflow, deadlines, people, projects and resources
• Creativity skills: Head of Creative must be innovative with a proven track record of creating conceptional campaigns and activations, have exceptional ability and experience in leading and owning the end-to-end delivery of creative campaigns. They must have a keen awareness of current trends in advertising and graphic design.
• Communication and presentation skills:Excellent communication (written and verbal) and confident presentation skills in order to pitch ideas to the company Chairman, stakeholders or directors and also explain their ideas to members of their creative team
• The ability to work well within a team liaising with the Head of Marketing and wider team
• Interpersonal skills: A team player with a very strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills are a must. Able to deliver a clear creative vision while remaining open to others' ideas. Ability to work well under pressure and to very demanding deadlines
• Digital and graphic design skills:Extensive knowledge of graphic design and relevant software is vital. Familiarity with film-making techniques as well as video editing, copywriting and HTML
Qualifications and Experience
• Extensive Marketing experience within luxury brands or hospitality
• Passionate about food and restaurants and a keen interest in the food scene is desirable
• Highly motivated and works well under pressure and to tight deadlines across multiple sites
• Innovative thinker
• A confident communicator with excellent written skills
• An extensive knowledge of all marketing channels
• Historical experience with partnership marketing and event creation and planning
• Proactive with a can-do attitude
• A team player who is able to build relationships
