Marketing Director (12 months FTC)

Location: London - Henrietta House

Grade: 06 - Director

Type: 12 month fixed term contract

Role Purpose

The Director will work to implement marketing activity across Continental Europe (CE), working with stakeholders who have pan-European roles.

The role will be responsible for delivering a strategic marketing programme that drives new client acquisition and business growth, with a focus on Account Based Marketing; digital-first integrated marketing campaigns that promote CBRE's points of difference; new business initiatives; client communications; new product and service launches; and collateral creation including powerpoint decks, service line material and value proposition composition.

Scope of work

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop close relationships with European leadership to contribute to business strategy using excellent industry and competitor knowledge
  • Drive the delivery of activity including pan European client campaigns
  • Work closely with the European Head of Marketing and Communications and the in-country Marketing Heads to deliver the overall marketing strategy
  • Personify excellence in account management skills, ensuring each stakeholder interaction exceeds expectations
  • Demonstrate excellent briefing and response skills at all times
  • Execute all tactics efficiently and with an eye for detail and continuous improvement

Marketing Strategy

  • Execute an annual programme of Account Based Marketing, to assist the business in holding relevant and timely conversations with clients and targets, to deepen relationships and grow the business
  • Work closely with the Business Development and Sales teams to drive integrated ABM pursuit plans that align to clear revenue metrics
  • Deploy insight, industry knowledge, business understanding and the results of previous activity to refine campaign recommendations to the business
  • Work alongside country marketing heads to deliver integrated campaigns that materially contribute to business growth
  • Accountability for brand and positioning communications including all visual identity, adherence and consistency, key messaging, creative expression, tone of voice, imagery and other expressions that develop brands and build equity

Campaign management

  • Roll out global campaigns, and implement local co-ordinated content campaigns, across social media, website, events and other activations
  • Work collaboratively with the business to identify relevant and timely client-issues to support the creation of innovative product launches and marketing campaigns
  • Ensure all campaigns add value at each stage of the client journey and reinforce CBRE's brand and expertise

Events

  • Responsibility for content creation, production delivery and oversight of content-led events
  • Working closely with the events team and business stakeholders to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Sharing materials and best practice with country marketing heads to ensure consistent events experiences throughout Europe
  • Arranging panel sessions or speaking opportunities at external conferences and events in conjunction with the Communications team, scriptwriting, speaker coordination and support on other content-led initiatives
  • Deliver a series of internal business education webinars, working closely with senior business stakeholders and marketing colleagues

Digital

  • Display a comprehensive understanding of the opportunity afforded by social and digital channels, including web presence, SEO optimised quality content and client journeys
  • Integrate digital into all campaigns, working to identify opportunities where digital can replace other tactics
  • Lead on the creation and promotion of video content for research reports, social media campaigns and events, working closely with the Design team and external production agencies

Data Centres

  • Oversight and management of outsourced Data Centres marketing agency, supervising and guiding all content creation
  • Liaise with the business to drive best return on investment from the agency

Qualifications and experience

  • Marketing expert with multi-channel marketing experience
  • Proven track record of stakeholder engagement
  • Strong skills of planning and execution
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Experience of content creation for event purposes would be preferred
  • Experience in Account Based Marketing Strategies would be preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail and highly organised as this is a fast-paced role
