Marketing and CRM Systems Manager

Kennedys is looking to recruit a Marketing and CRM Systems Manager.

This role will be responsible for managing a team in the operational support, planning and delivery of marketing technology solutions for BD&M and our lawyers.

The Marketing and CRM Systems Manager will act as a trusted advisor to the Global Head of Marketing Technology & Data and our Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

The role will involve collaborating with the IT team and vendors to deliver system enhancements, defect resolution, manage escalations and plan future projects.

Team

Kennedys' global Business Development & Marketing team drives profitable revenue growth through a client-centric approach to business development and marketing activity, which enhances our reputation globally.

The global functions are Pursuits, Clients and Markets, Marketing Technology & Data, and Marketing and Communications. The functions work alongside the regional Business Development & Marketing teams in APAC, EMEA, the US and Latin America.

Key responsibilities

  • Management of the Client Development Systems team.
  • Day-to-day operational support of Client Development Systems, which include the firms Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, InterAction, and email marketing system, Vuture.
  • Oversee the provision of user support by the team.
  • Manage and ensure timely handling of day-to-day support tasks.
  • Oversee and deliver end user training for all Client Development Systems.
  • Assisting the Global Head of Marketing Technology & Data in leading our relationship with vendors, alongside IT counterparts, to ensure effective support, upgrades and contract renewal.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
  • Planning, managing and delivering solutions that extract value from existing M&BD systems.
  • Identifying and validating the need for new technology to be introduced and creating a case for change.
  • Be a solution provider, partnering with stakeholders, project team members, users, vendors and lawyers to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Analyse and articulate stakeholder requirements and advocate for solutions that meet these requirements and contribute to the firm's strategy.
  • Create clear and concise plans and documentation that support the CMO and Global Head of BD&M Technology & Data deliver on their commitments.
  • Represent BD&M in technology projects as required.

Required experience

  • Demonstrable experience working with CRM, Marketing Automation, and Data Quality solutions.
  • Experience of working with InterAction CRM, Marigold Vuture. Having exposure to other leading platforms is a benefit.
  • Good understanding of database concepts, exposure to PowerBI or other data visualisation is a plus
  • 4yrs+ line management experience.
  • 6yrs+ working within BDM or IT teams with a focus on CRM, digital marketing
  • Sound grasp of technology concepts relevant to BD&M systems.
  • Understanding of data concepts and data flows/integration between systems.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and vice-versa.
  • Excellent problem solving and business analysis skills.
  • Have a passion in the future direction of BD&M systems and technology in general.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize and balance multiple responsibilities.
  • Delivery and deadline focused.
  • Excellent attention to detail and delivery of high-quality work.
  • Good self-management and organisation skills.
  • Highly effective as part of a wider team.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral) and is comfortable with a variety of audiences at all levels of the firm.
