The TUI Airline Finance function operates as a multi-disciplinary team of experts driving efficiency and innovation.
As Finance Manager - Airports & Ground Operations you are responsible for the finance business partnering and controlling of the Ground Operations & Airports cost base for the TUI Airline. You will be accountable for providing the inputs to the AOC and FP&A finance teams for month end close, forecasts, budget / 3YP and ad-hoc analysis. You will support the Director - Ground Operations, Director - Aviation Planning and SM&P with the analysis and delivery of cost base initiatives and revenue generating opportunities.
You will lead a team of 3 to support the development of a functionally led cost base across the TUI Airline, building transparency and insight to support the business. You will coach and develop the team, ensuring all direct reports are engaged and motivated to perform to high standards and to agreed objectives.
This is an important management role within the TUI Airline Finance COO function in which you will be required to support the leadership team with the role modelling of our strategic direction and behaviours within the TUI Airline Finance function and will be required to deputise for the Head of Finance - Operations where applicable.

ABOUT THE JOB
- As Finance Manager - Airports & Ground Operations you'll be responsible for:
- Delivery of the TUI Airline month end, forecast, budget and 3YP process for Ground Operations & Airports
- Lead the harmonisation of activities and processes within your area of finance to ensure a consistent function led approach. Working in close collaboration with FP&A and Airpas teams to ensure consistency and commonality across the regions.
- Support the development of KPI and reporting packs (working with the FP&A team) to enable functional business partnering and monitor cost base performance.
- Providing world class business partnering to the Director - Ground Operations, Director - Aviation Planning, SM&P and the AOC/FP&A finance team.
- You'll lead financial support and analysis for Ground Handling, Parking, Landing, De-icing and Airport costs
- Driving a culture of cost efficiency across all business areas within role remit
- Supporting and driving a culture of strong financial controls, compliance, and adherence to regulatory
- frameworks; ensuring adherence to governance mechanisms for investments and capital expenditure
- Promoting a culture of risk awareness, control focus, and 'doing the right thing'
- Leading specific adhoc project activities
- Leading a high performing team using structured learning and development plans that are supported and endorsed by your line manager.

ABOUT YOU
- Experience qualified accountant (3 yrs. PQE - preferably ACA or equivalent) or European university degree in business administration or similar, preferably with a focus on finance or controlling, and several years of experience working in finance/controlling
- 3+ years' team leadership experience and experience in setting and achieving strategic objectives and in supporting colleagues across all functions
- A collaborator with the ability to develop great working relationships internally and externally with multiple stakeholders
- High intellectual capacity
- A passion for change
- A self-starter with the ability to strategize and solve problems
- Strong coaching and organizational skills
