We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our organisation as Managing Director- England. This is a key executive role responsible for operational performance, quality, and supporting sustainable growth of our services across England.
As a member of the Executive Committee, the Managing Director will help shape organisational strategy while leading the delivery of high-quality, safe and financially sustainable services. The role will drive improvements in quality, regulatory performance, workforce engagement and operational effectiveness, while supporting the organisations growth through service development, partnerships and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead operational performance across services in England
* Drive improvements in service quality, regulatory performance and operational outcomes
* Ensure services meet or exceed CQC regulatory standards
* Support the organisations growth through service development, partnerships and innovation
* Ensure safe and sustainable workforce levels while reducing reliance on agency usage
* Build and develop high-performing leadership teams
* Strengthen relationships with commissioners, regulators, families and people we support
* Ensure strong governance, safeguarding and risk management across services
About You
You will be a credible and experienced senior leader with a strong track record of leading operational performance within health and social care or other regulated environments
You will bring:
* Significant senior leadership experience in complex or multi-site services
* Strong knowledge of CQC frameworks and regulatory requirements
* A proven ability to improve quality, operational performance and regulatory outcomes
* Strong financial and commercial awareness
* The ability to lead and develop high performing teams
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
Most importantly, you will be a value- driven leader committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred services
Additional information
* National travel across England will be required
* Participation in executive on-call and crisis arrangements
