Your new role
The Manager, Valuations & Pricing leads valuation governance and oversight for a global property portfolio, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely valuations. The role supports broader investment operations and contributes to strategic initiatives across the Fund.
Key Responsibilities:
- Valuation Oversight: Manage valuation cycles for unlisted property assets, review reports, verify inputs, and assess assumptions.
- Governance & Compliance: Maintain and refine valuation policies, address audit findings, and ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external valuers, support acquisitions/divestments, and resolve valuation issues.
- Strategic Input: Monitor market performance, flag valuation needs, and contribute to cross-Fund initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Develop junior staff, foster a high-performance culture, and produce thought leadership materials.
Essentials:
- Culture is key at AustralianSuper, and we are looking for someone who is a team player that enjoys working in a high performing collaborative team.
- Qualifications: Degree in Property, Finance, or related field; MRICS or AAPI membership.
- Experience: Significant exposure in property valuation, team leadership, stakeholder management, and project coordination.
- Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and presentation abilities; adept at managing complex valuation processes.
This role is based on site at London King's Cross Estate, one of the core assets of the Fund's global portfolio.
