In this role you will be managing and analysing large volumes of quantitative and qualitative security threat intelligence, ensuring that this is communicated effectively to corporate and hotel stakeholders, and monitoring security compliance requirements.

Your day to day

  • Generating and maintaining large risk datasets and categorising assets' exposure based on this data.
  • Managing the communication of security threat data to colleagues across several corporate offices and IHG branded hotels globally via technology platforms.
  • Managing pipeline and open hotels' compliance to IHG's Threat Management policies and standards, engaging with a range of corporate stakeholder teams to identify and resolve any escalations.
  • Sourcing, analysing and reporting qualitative intelligence on security threats to IHG assets globally.
  • Generating performance metrics on the impact of intelligence in mitigating risks across a range of topics, including Ethics and Compliance, Human Rights, Privacy and Supply Chains, in addition to Safety + Security.
  • Managing Intelligence and Threat Management Learning and Development resources.
  • Deputising for Director of Global Intelligence as required.

What we need from you

Whilst we love experience, mindset is of equal importance. We're looking for someone who is committed with a natural ability to operate effectively in a fast moving, global environment.

  • Degree or vocational equivalent in a relevant field such as intelligence, defence, international security or international politics.
  • 5 years' experience of, and proven expertise in, dealing with geopolitical intelligence and security threat management in a corporate, military or government environment.
  • Proactive, inquisitive, detail-oriented, critical thinker with strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to manage and analyse large volumes of numerical and written data, extracting meaning and communicating this succinctly and compellingly to stakeholders.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders in a matrix environment to achieve results.
