As a Manager in our AI & Data TMT practice, have the opportunity to manage and develop a talented team, driving performance standards and ensuring our data management services are top-notch. You'll engage directly with stakeholders, providing training and support to maximise the value we derive from our data. You will also be responsible for: coordinating, developing, and facilitating smooth data collection and analysis; ensuring regular, adequate checks on data quality; organising safe and appropriate storage of data.

You will be an exceptional communicator, who is able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders with ease. You will have a strong ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment, leveraging the strengths of others to achieve common goals. You are outcome focussed and have a desire to be pragmatic in your approach to designing and delivering high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

At times your work will include being the bridge from strategy into delivery, and we particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience in digital transformations, alongside core strategy skills.

The nature of the work we do includes:

• Working with executive level clients to understand and define strategic choices ahead of key investment decisions.
• Traditional evidence-led analysis to identify market development opportunities to support client strategies.
• Determining the optimum business or commercial model to effectively deliver client objectives.
• Helping our clients configure effectively and develop their ability to deliver operational excellence in specific areas.
• Identifying new ways of working that will stimulate innovation and growth, and lead to better decision-making.
• Guiding and supporting clients through imagining, defining and delivering their digital journey to enable competitive advantage.

The team: The role sits within the AI & Data team. You will work with and learn from a group of experienced strategists and industry specialists from a diverse range of backgrounds. You'll also benefit from being part of the wider Monitor Deloitte Strategy community in the UK and globally, with opportunities to learn best practice strategy techniques across industries. Beyond the Strategy team, you will build a network with TMT-experts across Deloitte Consulting, in digital, marketing, financial advisory, regulatory and operations.

Industry-Specific Knowledge:

• TMT Trends: Understanding of key trends in the TMT sector, including 5G, IoT, and digital marketing.
• Regulatory Landscape: Familiarity with relevant regulations affecting TMT companies.
• Industry Challenges: Awareness of common data-related issues in the TMT sector, such as customer churn and fraud detection.

Business Skills:

• Strategic Alignment: Ability to contribute to a client's overall business strategy by leveraging data and AI.
• Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving data-related challenges within the TMT sector.
• Client Communication: Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
• Project Coordination: Assisting in project management tasks, including resource allocation and budget tracking.

Technical Skills:

• Data Analysis: Proficiency in using tools like Python and SQL for data analysis and visualisation.
• Cloud Technologies: Understanding of cloud platforms and their data-related services.
• Data Pipelines: Familiarity with basic data pipeline concepts and ETL processes.
• Gen AI: Awareness of continued advancement in Gen AI technologies and their potential applications in the TMT sector.
