As a Manager and Decision Intelligence expert in our Supply Chain Fulfilment team, you will play a pivotal role in optimising clients' logistics operations. You'll apply advanced decision intelligence techniques and platforms to translate complex data into actionable strategies, driving efficiency and resilience across global supply chains. This role empowers you to contribute to high-impact engagements, shaping the future of how organisations plan and deliver their products.
Your day-to-day could involve:
- Contributing to the design, development, and implementation of advanced supply chain strategy work across logistics and fulfilment and developing innovative solutions for clients.
- Supporting the architecting and deploying of innovative logistics solutions, encompassing areas such as transportation, warehouse automation, yard management, warehousing, inventory management, and network design, often within a programme delivery framework (e.g., Aera, Rulex, or similar) to analyse complex supply chain data.
- Identify optimisation opportunities and support data-backed recommendations.
- Building and nurturing strong trusted relationships with client stakeholders, understanding their challenges, and articulating the value of Deloitte's solutions.
- Mentoring junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment, and contributing to the professional growth of your teams.
- Supporting proposals, thought leadership, and practice development initiatives, leveraging insights and technical expertise.

You're an experienced professional with expertise in logistics and supply chain operations, working at the forefront of decision intelligence. Your programme delivery skills and critical thinking enable you to implement innovative solutions that deliver client value. With strong communication, client relationship management, and leadership potential, you effectively contribute to guiding teams and influencing stakeholders.
Your Technical & Consulting Toolkit:
- Strong knowledge and practical experience across logistics operations, including global transportation, warehouse automation technologies, yard management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory optimisation, and supply chain network design.
- Hands-on experience with decision intelligence platforms (e.g., Aera, Rulex) or advanced analytical tools that leverage AI/ML for supply chain optimisation, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- A solid understanding of programme and project management methodologies, with a track record of successfully contributing to complex, large-scale supply chain transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including data modelling, statistical analysis, and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies.
- Familiarity with leading supply chain planning and execution technologies, ERP systems, and an understanding of how these integrate to drive business value.
- Experience in process mapping, re-engineering, and the application of lean or Six Sigma principles within supply chain and logistics contexts.

- Strong expertise in logistics operations, including transportation, warehouse automation, yard management, warehousing, inventory, and network design.
- Proficiency in decision intelligence platforms (AI/ML) and advanced analytics for supply chain optimisation and forecasting.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking to analyse complex situations and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills for engagement and influence.
- Proven project/programme management acumen for delivering complex initiatives.
- High data literacy and proficiency with supply chain technologies (ERP, APS, WMS).
Desirables:
- Specific industry experience (e.g., Retail, Manufacturing, CPG, Automotive).
- Experience in change management and guiding technology adoption.
- Contribution to business development and commercial acumen, including proposal support.
- Experience navigating global supply chain logistics and regulations.
- Strong negotiation skills with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Expertise in supply chain risk identification and mitigation.
