We are seeking a talented and experienced Reward Manager to join our growing Pay Equity & Transparency team within our Reward practice. In this role, you will play a key role in advising clients on a wide range of reward matters, ensuring their compensation practices are competitive, effective, and compliant with the EU Pay Transparency Directive. You will work on diverse client projects, collaborating with colleagues and, leveraging and developing your expertise in reward strategy, job evaluation, pay equity analysis, gender pay gap reporting, and more.

The Pay Equity & Transparency team supports clients on a broad variety of reward matters, and as part of this growing team, you will be responsible for:

Client Project Delivery:

  • Review, design, and support the implementation of reward strategies, policies, and processes that align with clients' business goals and comply with relevant legislation.
  • Review or help design client's job evaluation methodologies and techniques
  • Review or help design pay structures with a view of pay transparency and pay equity.
  • Conduct client interviews and seek information, context, and data to understand their specific reward challenges and objectives.
  • Analyse client pay data to identify, analyse and explain any potential gender pay gaps and develop tailored solutions to address them.
  • Use tools and design processes for data collection related to gender pay gap reporting
  • Support with the analysis and summarise key findings, including modelling to support decision-making.
  • Develop communication materials and deliver training to stakeholders on reward and pay equity topics.
  • Develop governance frameworks for clients, including tools, processes, and training materials.
  • Gather and interpret stakeholder feedback to support change management activities related to reward initiatives.
  • Deliver client presentations and workshops on reward-related topics.

Business Development:

  • Support business development activities, including proposal development and client pitches.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Research and Thought Leadership:

  • Stay abreast of market trends and best practices in reward management, particularly regarding EU equal pay legislation.
  • Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, such as articles, white papers, and presentations.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across different levels and expertise areas to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members.

Connect to your skills and professional experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a Reward consulting or similar role, with a strong understanding of compensation principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of methodologies and application of job evaluation, job architecture, reward philosophy, policies and processes, reward strategy linkage with business objectives, and bonus plans.
  • Experience conducting job evaluations and developing gender-neutral job classification systems.
  • At least a basic knowledge of the EU Pay Transparency Directive.
  • Understanding of gender pay gap reporting, pay equity and transparency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse complex data.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Awareness of Power BI or other advanced reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Desirable:

  • Basic understanding of HR information systems such as Workday and SuccessFactors.
  • Knowledge of international compensation practices.
  • Experience working with a variety of clients across different industries.
