Our Clients & Strategy team covers Business Development, Investor Relations, External Relations, Sustainable Investment and Brand, Marketing & Communications, including Internal Communications.

It is responsible for all communications to investor prospects, existing investors and their asset consultants, as well as a broad range of other stakeholders, including governments and media.

The Role

As the Relationship Marketer & Platform Infrastructure Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the martech stack, specifically focusing on relationship marketing initiatives including CRM, campaign management/marketing automation tools (such as Salesforce and Pardot. You will play a pivotal role in developing relationship marketing/email strategy, processes, and tools, providing guidance to various teams, and leveraging AI to personalise communications for our diverse audience segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the introduction and rollout of IFM's marketing campaign management automation tool, managing implementation and providing global training.
  • Develop, manage, execute, and optimise email marketing programs to support multi-channel efforts including events, webinars, promotions, prospecting, and retention marketing initiatives.
  • Create customised contact strategies for different client segments in collaboration with Global Client Solutions, Growth & Retention Marketing, Internal Communications, and other business stakeholders
  • Develop and implement engagement scoring and lead management strategies in conjunction with local sales and marketing teams
  • Collaborate with regional marketers to ensure proper setup of marketing campaign plans across various channels in the campaign management tool.
  • Establish best practices, infrastructure, and processes for email and direct mail management, and utilise campaign management tools effectively.
  • Develop test and learn plans to optimise targeting, creative, and marketing messages.
  • Manage relationships with external production agencies where relevant
  • Track, monitor, and report on campaign KPIs working with the Data, Intelligence and Analytics associate
  • Gather insights and document best practices from past campaigns to continuously improve future campaign performance.
  • Developing and managing a change management programme with eh introduction of new processes surrounding marketing automation.

Your Background and Experience

Key Experience required:

  • Advanced knowledge of marketing automation and workflow management system including; email marketing, personalisation, dynamic content and triggered email.
  • Experience of managing email and direct marketing communications, creating and launching email and direct marketing campaigns, delivering above industry benchmarks.
  • Proven experience in strategic thinking including the development of contact strategies. Demonstrating an understanding of the full customer journey and the marketing and communications touch points.
  • Experience in engagement scoring and lead signalling programme development.
  • Experience creating and sending large-scale email campaigns.
  • Familiarity with CRM and database management e.g. Salesforce.com.
  • Experience with A/B testing.
  • An understanding of key digital channels including SEO, PPC and Social Media.
  • Strong analytical skills, demonstrable data-driven approach and an ability to measure campaign KPI's, and optimise performance to maximise ROI.
  • Excellent project management skills, used to managing several projects concurrently, within a fluctuating and demanding workload.
  • Fundamental understanding of good email design, digital channels and tactics.
  • Demonstrable experience of creating email experiences for specific segments and setting KPIs based on objectives.
  • Experience of creating and implementing process and production workflows.
  • Ability to manage multiple internal & external stakeholders and work with colleagues in other teams across the business to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate campaigns.
  • Ability to identify issues and problem solve to ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in email and measurement.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working in financial services
  • Content calendar planning experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in relationship marketing, CRM, and campaign management within a B2B institutional and private wealth audience-focused environment.
  • Expertise in Salesforce, Pardot, marketing automation tools, and campaign management platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.
  • Good understanding of HTML
  • Knowledge of AI technologies and their application in marketing is a plus.
