Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented People Operations and Infrastructure Manager to oversee and optimise our People processes, ways-of- working and employee-experience. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our People operations, driving continuous improvement, and enhancing the employee experience as they interact with our core People platforms, including Workday and our People Services desk.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimisation:
    - Analyse existing People processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
    - Design and implement streamlined processes that enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
    - Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Systems Management:
    - Partner closely with our People Technology team and act as a 'super user' of our core HR systems, including our HRIS (Workday), Learning Platform and People Services ticketing tool (FreshService).
    - Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all People systems underpinned by simple, effective processes.
    - Work with our Technical Product Manager to identify and implement technology solutions to automate and streamline People processes.
  • Compliance & Governance:
    - Stay abreast of employment laws and regulations to ensure People processes and practices are compliant.
    - Conduct regular audits of People data and processes to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
    - Oversee and manage team systems security models and access requirements.
  • Compliance & Governance:
    - Utilize HR data to analyze trends, identify insights, and inform decision-making.
    - Develop and track key People metrics to measure the effectiveness of our operations.
    - Design, deliver and maintain KPI and SLA reports and documentation.
  • Employee Experience:
    - Collaborate with People team members globally to deliver a positive and seamless employee experience, ensuring our processes are efficient with a high quality user experience.
    - Develop and implement employee self-service tools and resources.
    - Gather feedback from employees to identify areas for improvement in People processes and services.

Qualifications

  • Experience in People/HR operations, HR Shared Services, HR generalism of HR program management.
  • Customer-centric, always thinking about the 'end-user' and delivering top-quality service.
  • Strong HR process management experience, able to create efficiencies and enable teams.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to build trust with leadership and cross-functional partners (People Leadership team, Legal, Finance, Technology etc).
  • Strong data and reporting literacy, with a strong focus on making data driven decisions and leveraging metrics to track activity and progress.
  • A solutions-oriented approach, able to solve problems and navigate complex issues that are new; comfortable in ambiguity and able to manage difficult issues while keeping an eye to the future.
  • Strong planner and project manager; experience leading and implementing HR projects and introducing new initiatives.
  • Excellent change agent who understands the importance of bringing stakeholders along for the journey and explaining the 'why' behind key change activities.
  • A strong do-er, able to work at both an operational delivery and strategic level and doesn't shy away from a challenge.
  • Proficient in HR and Employee/Customer experience technology platforms (e.g., HRIS, knowledge management and ticketing platforms).
