In this role, you will:
- Coordinate and deliver global Operations change initiatives aligned to strategic priorities.
- Manage UK Operations change programs, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to ensure delivery against scope, cost, and quality expectations.
- Act as the link between regional Operations teams and global change programs, ensuring effective engagement, governance, and alignment.
- Conduct business analysis, process mapping, testing, and implementation activities to support deployment of new capabilities.
- Ensure new operational technology and data solutions are fit for purpose and aligned to enterprise architecture standards.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to shape and transform operational services.
- Provide subject matter expertise into major global projects and represent Operations in key working groups.
- Contribute to broader operational initiatives as directed by the Principal, Portfolio Operations International.
What You'll Bring
You are an experienced operations and change professional who thrives in complex environments, brings structure to ambiguity, and builds strong relationships across teams and regions.
You'll bring:
Essential:
- Extensive experience in Investment / Fund Management Operations (Middle Office, Fund Accounting, Treasury Operations, Fund Administration, Custody, etc.).
- Deep understanding of data flows across asset owners, fund managers, custodians, administrators, and registries.
- Strong knowledge of the pension industry and its regulatory environment.
- Proven ability to liaise and collaborate with broad stakeholder groups at all levels.
- Confidence to communicate, challenge assumptions, and influence outcomes.
- Strong experience delivering change or project outcomes within Investment Operations.
- Experience across Project Management, Business Analysis, and Change Management.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage ambiguity effectively.
- Relationship-building and networking skills.
Desired:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience managing third-party service provider relationships.
- Familiarity with investment platforms such as Aladdin, eFront, CRTS, Calypso, SimCorp Dimension, Bloomberg AIM, FX All, FX Connect, or similar.
You won't need to meet every requirement from day one - what matters most is your ability to grow into the role and close capability gaps over time.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in investments, business, finance, or a related field (essential).
- Additional qualifications in superannuation, investments, or finance (desired).
