As a Delivery Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting a team of IM&W specialists in delivering our most challenging projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring project success and driving business growth.
As a Delivery Consultant, you will have responsibility to:
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to establish technology strategy and implementation roadmaps
- Support clients throughout the whole project lifecycle activities across discovery, data analysis, solution design and build, end-to-end testing, integrations and change and go-live
- Support your team in addressing potential pitfalls throughout the project lifecycle, implementing preventive measures and solutions to ensure successful outcomes
- Liaise with vendor partners to facilitate communication and ensure projects stay aligned with client objectives
- Provide clear visibility of progress made to clients through MI/reporting
- Support addressing one or more implementation challenges by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure thorough assessment and resolution
- Work within diverse teams to deliver measurable business outcomes to quality and timescales
- Build effective client relationships with peer-level stakeholders across all business and technical domains including IT, Operations and Risk
- Support the definition and implementation of accelerators and standards and promoting adherence to these standards within internal and external programmes and projects
Connect to your skills and professional experience
- Strong consulting experience, preferably in the wealth management, pensions and/or insurance domains
- Good understanding of vendor management best practices and the ability to endure complex vendor landscapes
- Experience in supporting complex delivery programmes and transformation projects
- Been a key part of wealth platform transformation projects and demonstrated ability to support in a team of technology and business advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, development, implementation, migration, and testing
- Supported delivery teams to successful project outcomes by managing and monitoring progress, mitigating risks, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and adapting to changing circumstances
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly and build relationships with clients
- Ensure delivery standards are followed and deviations from any defined standards are properly addressed and communicated
- Experience in delivering through various ways of working, including waterfall and agile methodologies
- Familiarity with modern software delivery tooling, e.g. JIRA, Confluence etc
- Appreciation of emerging technology and trends in wealth management
- Industry certifications such as PMP, Agile, Scrum Master, Prince2 among others are non-essential but desirable

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
