Your role

As the Content Strategy Manager, EMEA, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing marketing campaigns that resonate across diverse markets. Your role will require you to leverage exceptional internal communication skills, foster relationships, and oversee content review processes with extended regional and country teams. Your expertise in content marketing strategy, presentation, and collaboration will be crucial in delivering cohesive and impactful marketing initiatives.

Digital Realty, a global leader in data center, colocation, and interconnection solutions, is seeking a seasoned Content Strategy Manager to join our Global Content Strategy & Campaigns team. This pivotal role will focus on driving brand awareness and achieving business objectives through innovative content strategies and collaborative efforts across regional and country marketing teams.

What you'll do

Integrated Marketing Campaigns:

  • Partner with sub-regional and country marketing teams to develop and refine comprehensive marketing strategies and plans tailored to specific markets.
  • Design and implement integrated campaigns across digital channels-email, social media, paid advertising, and content marketing-ensuring alignment with local market needs and business goals.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance, leveraging data to provide actionable recommendations and drive improvements.

Content Marketing Strategy:

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communications skills as both an individual contributor and to lead contractors, freelancers and peers to create content aligned to Digital Realty's value proposition.
  • Formulate and execute an EMEA-focused content marketing strategy that aligns with both global business objectives and regional market nuances.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content assets-blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, videos-that engage target audiences and support campaign goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Engage with internal teams (sales, product management, operations) and external partners to ensure marketing initiatives are integrated and aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regional and country marketing teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to ensure successful execution of campaigns.
  • Manage content review processes with regional and country teams to ensure consistency and relevance across all marketing materials.

Industry Expertise and Best Practices:

  • Stay informed on the latest digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovative strategies.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify differentiation opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Share insights and industry knowledge with the marketing team to enhance overall effectiveness and adaptability.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 6+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on content marketing and integrated campaigns.
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing successful content marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Exceptional internal communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage content review processes across multiple regions.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure campaign performance and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about staying current with industry trends and advancements.
