Moorhouse is looking for a candidate to support its rapidly expanding Life Sciences sector with experience and a focus on Digital & Data. We help our clients to achieve digital transformation as a strategic advisor and delivery partner. Our expertise spans the value chain from R&D and clinical development through to manufacturing, commercial and post-market support. We provide a range of services to help clients respond to disruptive technology trends, implement innovative digital products, define technology operating models to enable Life Sciences organisations to maximise their value from technology and achieve the best outcomes for their patients.

Responsibilities

What do we do - Digital & Data in Life Sciences:

Our Digital & Data and Life Sciences teams work closely together at Moorhouse. Your role will involve working with the Digital & Data team at our Life Science clients to grow our capabilities, propositions and networks.

We provide an array of Digital & Data capabilities across our Life Sciences clients, with extensive experience in R&D and a strategic focus on Commercial, Medical Affairs and Global Health. Our clients include a range of global Life Science and pharmaceutical companies and examples of our activities are outlined below and on our website:

Our Digital & Data capabilities:

• Our Digital team assists our clients across the following proposition areas:
• Digital Advisory: working with our clients to support them on their digital transformation journeys, by setting the right strategic direction and helping build the right structures to achieve it.
• Digital Architecture & Enablement: working with clients to transform their technology by using modern platforms and rationalise their environments - to streamline and optimise their tech.
• Digital Product & Delivery: combining our various delivery teams and methodologies to ensure successful implementation of digital transformation projects and products.
• Our Data team assists our clients across the following proposition areas
• Data driven organisations - Developing & executing on data strategies that transform organisational capability.
• Data Technology & Infrastructure - Designing, building & governing the technological enablers of a data & analytics operating model.
• BI, Insights & Modelling - Measuring, analysing, forecasting, monitoring and communicating key information.
• Data Science Solutions & Services - Surfacing advanced analytics capabilities and designing & delivering software, tools and applications.

As a Manager, you will have:

• 6 - 8 years' experience, whether this is from a big consulting firm, boutique consultancy or experience gained in Life Sciences and Digital and Data in industry.
• Strong experience leading projects, delivering consulting services across the life sciences value chain in one or more of our Digital and Data capabilities (see above for Digtal & Data capabilities).
• Inclusively leading consulting teams, including blended delivery teams with clients, with a track record of building capability, coaching, and upskilling colleagues.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for building and nurturing strong relationships, both with clients and colleagues.
• Experience of effectively managing and collaborating with senior client stakeholders.
• A self-starter with ability to work independently and identify, scope and lead key initiatives as well as collaboratively as part of small teams (this is important for owning internal roles and growing our Life Science sector team).
• Commercial awareness and experience in business development is beneficial.
• Excited to inspire Digital and Data colleagues to work in Life Sciences, supporting the development of sector knowledge and capability.

Benefits

What we can offer you at Moorhouse:

• A total cash package of £110,000 comprising of a base salary of £82,005 and a combination of personal and company bonuses that are paid every six months
• 25 days annual leave increasing by one day for every full year of service to a maximum of 30 days with the option to buy or sell up to five days of annual leave per year

Our offices are based near Liverpool Street in London, though we expect you to spend much of our time with clients at their offices. We support flexible and hybrid working.
