For the role to be effective you will need to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders based on trust and impact.

We are seeking a business partner to assist with budgeting, provision of monthly MI, strategic planning, and stakeholder management. The IT function within Deloitte is split into three separate but related areas, two of which sit in Central Business Services (CBS) which is a large, multi-location shared service organisation within Deloitte's enabling functions.

We currently have an opportunity available for someone to join the Enabling Functions Finance team as Business Partner for the various areas of IT. The role will support the Senior Business Partner supporting all areas of the internal IT function.

The suitable candidate will be a qualified accountant with a background of a large, complex organisation or a professional services firm.

They will be required to work closely with senior stakeholders across all areas of the IT function providing insight and driving actions financial results, strategy and budgeting.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing Insight and analysis on financial results to senior stakeholders
• Working with Stakeholders across IT to produce the annual budget and regular financial forecast
• Production and Analysis of monthly and quarterly reports
• Ensuring all reports are sent out promptly and are of a professional standard
• Ensuring workflows and approvals reflect business structures and are appropriate
• Providing insight and analysis on the relevant functions on financial matters to stakeholders across the firm
• decision-making of the relevant functions leads by assessing risks and opportunities to improve key financial and non-financial metrics
• Where required assisting financial control with closure of the monthly management accounts
• Identify and drive longer-term cost optimisation opportunities
• Ad hoc tasks and projects

We would expect a successful candidate to have the following experience and qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with relevant experience
• Strong commercial experience with the ability to see beyond the confines of a core Finance function
• Demonstrates relationship management skills and ability to challenge and influence decision making among senior stakeholders
• Experience managing a large and complex set of stakeholders
• Experience in managing multiple demands on time
• Excellent oral & written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
