Your New Role

As the Manager of Investment Operations UK, you will supervise the London Public Markets Trading Operations team, overseeing the execution of operational responsibilities across various asset classes, including Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, and Derivatives. You will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement initiatives, constructively challenging the status quo, and building for the future in line with our significant growth plans.

In this role, you will:

• Provide day-to-day oversight and ensure the efficient operation of middle office trade support across diverse asset classes.
• Inspire and develop a diverse and high-performing team, embedding a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, internal teams, and external service providers, building strong relationships to support our international equity fund management capabilities.
• Drive strategic initiatives that align with our business objectives and enhance member value.
• Maintain a hands-on approach to trade support, ensuring operational best practices, strong risk controls, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Support global growth initiatives by identifying opportunities to in-house middle office support and streamline operations.

About You

You are a strategic thinker with a broad knowledge of diverse, multi-asset classes, coupled with a deep understanding of middle office trade support controls. You bring strong analytical and organizational skills, along with a high attention to detail. Your background includes:

• Experience in investment or fund management operations, with a detailed understanding of operational best practices.
• Expertise across multiple asset classes, with a strong grasp of custodian, administration, and investment management operations.
• Proven experience in project management, with the ability to drive efficiency initiatives and lead continuous improvement efforts.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with portfolio management systems and vendors, with experience in Aladdin and Calypso being particularly valuable.
• A demonstrated history of career growth in a stable and sustained manner, with previous leadership or management roles.

Ideally, you will have experience in the investment or asset management industry, though candidates from an investment banking background will also be considered. You are high-energy, collaborative, and capable of challenging the status quo in a constructive way.
