The Team

Our highly respected Infrastructure & Capital Projects (A&M INFRA) team is built on deep industry sector expertise with a demonstrably differentiated ability to address the most complex problems facing our public and private sector clients. Our multi-disciplinary team solving high-stakes issues for our clients across the capital project and infrastructure deal lifecycles. We are focused on improving outcomes on capital projects, mitigating risks and protecting value by reducing the level of uncertainty associated with the development, delivery and operation of programmes and projects.

The Role

A&M INFRA is further expanding in Europe, and we are looking to recruit a Manager to join our fast growing London-based practice. Working alongside some of the industry's brightest minds and most experienced colleagues, you will have an active role in the development and execution of client assignments. You can expect plenty of opportunity for growth that includes responsibilities for delivering on our client assignments and championing our value propositions to clients involved in complex infrastructure and capital projects. Such assignments range from helping clients set up programmes through to delivery of projects, transformations and turnarounds through outcome-focused advice and support. You will support business development activities, inform strategies, manage project workstreams and help expand client relationships, as well as work to support more earlier-in-career team members. Alongside senior leadership, you will recognize new opportunities and suggests ways to participate in the sales cycle whilst also able to effectively manage core components of projects.

Activities and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of work fronts with authority, identifying improvement initiatives and playing an active role in all aspects of client engagement.
  • Lead meetings and presentations with both client and A&M's managerial and executive levels, conveying confidence and mastery of the topics discussed.
  • Respond promptly to project demands and anticipate critical actions for the success of initiatives. Propose solutions for client, quality or risk issues
  • Engage in various projects, collaborating with multiple colleagues and clients across a variety of sectors and functional areas.
  • Facilitate effective collaborations between leadership, achieving alignments and producing outcomes that serve the interests of all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to practice development by supporting product and/or industry development.
  • Develop and grow the accounts currently involved with, identifying opportunities and work alongside leadership to translate them into business.
  • Serve as a bridge between staff and leadership for culture dissemination and conflict management.
  • Coordinate and ensure compliance with administrative matters (Scheduling, Sales Spreadsheet, Collections, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional background in Engineering, Project Management, or Consultancy.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects requiring exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Postgraduate degree in project management and/or administration or finance is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure and Capital Projects products.
  • Certification in project management or other consulting sector accreditations from recognized entities (e.g., AACE, PMI, etc.).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for interactions with senior management, clients, and colleagues
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Financial and operational modelling experience

Competencies:

  • Demonstrable MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) proficiency to a high standard.
  • Prior use of project management software (MS Project, Oracle P6, PowerProject, etc).
  • Critical thinking skills providing fact-based recommendations, recognizing and addressing additional opportunities to serve the client, through an understanding of A&M's services.
  • Ability to lead and work under pressure with strong decision-making skills whilst demonstrating attention to detail, ensuring accurate, complete, and high-quality work
  • Proactivity in acquiring knowledge of innovative project management technologies.
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills to effectively interact at multiple level (internally and externally).
