We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for an on-site role focusing on the day-to-day operations of our growing manufacturing business in Loughborough. This role will support a headcount of c.350 across two local sites with the support of a HR Coordinator. Over the next 3-7 years we expect a large increase in production volumes, making this a hugely exciting time to join the team. As the business grows and evolves, there will be the opportunity to engage in strategic initiatives and projects to enhance your professional development.

The HRBP will report to the HR Director and will work alongside a HR Coordinator and a Talent Acquisition Partner, all based in Loughborough plus a HRBP based at our Clitheroe site.

Headline Role Accountabilities

  • Support the creation and delivery of UK people strategy with the HR Director and HRBP as the business grows in line with 3-7 year plan
  • Drive the roll-out of central initiatives into the customer groups (performance management, employee surveys and other change programmes) to enhance operational excellence
  • Build strong relationships with key business leaders and develop deep understanding of operational challenges and opportunities - using your knowledge to challenge and support change/growth across the site
  • Partner with the TA Partner on recruitment and selection
  • Lead local onboarding processes (pre- and post-employment)
  • Managing and developing the HR Coordinator to deliver excellent service around the employee lifecycle
  • Educate line leaders (including delivery of formal training interventions) in good people practices, business policy & processes
  • Coach managers to support their leadership development and grow organisational capability

Skills & Experience

  • Strong generalist background covering all aspects of HR activity
  • Preference for manufacturing experience
  • Exposure to a regulated environment (desirable)
  • Change management champion
