Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our organization as the Manager of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). This role will be instrumental in fostering a culture that values diversity, ensures equity, promotes inclusion, and fosters a sense of belonging among all our employees. The role will manage and coordinate our community program and manage our 3rd party partners while working closely with our Talent and Business Partner teams, departmentally and regionally, to help deliver strategies, programs and initiatives to help the organization continue to build a diverse workforce.

  • To act as the key 'Product Manager' responsible for working with our 'Head of Employee Experience - People Products' to evolve and implement a comprehensive DEIB strategy aligned with our organizational goals and with employee experience at the heart.
  • Support and drive initiatives, programs and activities to promote diversity across hiring, retention, and talent management, working closely with partners across the People team, including Engagement, Culture, Talent, Recruiting and Data & Analytics.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and Diversity Champions to integrate DEIB principles into policies, practices, and decision-making processes, continuously gathering feedback along the way.
  • Select and manage vendors to provide training and development programs to enhance cultural competency and promote an inclusive workplace.
  • Be an excellent communicator with the ability to effectively communicate and influence at all levels of the organization and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations, community groups, and industry networks to stay current on best practices and foster a diverse talent pipeline.
  • Serve as a resource for the People team and employee population, addressing concerns related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Analyze and report on metrics related to DEIB initiatives to track progress towards organizational goals and inform future strategies.
  • Act as a visible advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion internally and externally, representing the organization's commitment to these principles in various internal forums.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working in a role focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, with a background of delivery and impact.
  • In-depth knowledge of DEIB best practices and current industry trends, with a curiosity for learning and gathering market intel internally and externally.
  • Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives to conclusion and gain buy-in and engagement along the way,
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing and measuring the impact of diversity and inclusion initiatives, with a good understanding and high level of analytical literacy.
  • Understanding of legal and compliance considerations related to diversity and inclusion, including being a steward of sensitive information.
