NIQ is seeking an experienced Manager, Cybersecurity Engineering to lead and develop our cybersecurity engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams across different time zones, developing and maintaining KPIs, managing vendor relationships, and delivering solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
- Manage and develop a diverse cybersecurity engineering team, including members in different time zones.
- Develop and maintain team KPIs and KRIs to ensure performance and accountability.
- Manage and maintain vendor relationships to ensure the best tools and services for the team.
- Deliver solutions quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Overcome challenges and remove blockers independently to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead the team in engineering solutions for vulnerability identification, log management, email security, cloud security, and attack surface reduction.
- Consistently meet deadlines and escalate issues in a timely manner when necessary.
What You'll Do:
- Drive teams to deliver scalable, quality, flexible, and user-friendly cybersecurity solutions.
- Partner with multiple teams to track progress and ensure alignment with goals.
- Implement technology best practices and ensure teams adhere to agile values and principles.
- Work with direct managers to define technology roadmaps for cybersecurity solutions.
- Contribute both independently and through team efforts.
- Guide and mentor team members on technology aspects and provide technical issue resolution.
- Provide mentorship, growth, and training for the team.
- Collaborate with Product owners, Program team, Product Leaders, and Senior Tech Leaders to ensure a steady pipeline of work and alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience managing a cybersecurity engineering team across different time zones.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain team KPIs.
- Strong vendor management skills.
- Ability to deliver quickly in a fast-paced environment and independently overcome challenges.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity engineering solutions for vulnerability identification, log management, email security, cloud security, and attack surface reduction.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to meet deadlines consistently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience driving agile processes and implementing technology best practices.
- Ability to manage and track progress across multiple teams.
- Strong mentorship and training capabilities.
- CNAPP, CSPM, and Cloud providers such as Azure, GCP, AWS experience
