Are you an experienced commercial manager with a strong background in field sales, trade marketing, and business development? Do you have a deep understanding of the FMCG industry and the skills to drive revenue growth in a dynamic duty-free market? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Customer Development with Philip Morris - Duty Free.

As a Customer Development Lead, you will have the opportunity to have a significant impact on our duty-free portfolio and strategy, and to be part of the amazing journey we are on for the broader PMI business. You will drive revenue growth by optimising our portfolio mix, availability, visibility, and pricing, as well as through high-quality trade engagement. Providing insightful recommendations on new product introductions or delistings based on market trends and global portfolio priorities, you will play a key role in crafting the future of our business. Accurately predicting product demand and effectively handling stock levels at operator sites will be crucial for successful execution. Additionally, you will develop comprehensive strategies to increase revenue while considering market price sensitivity and cultivate strong partnerships with retail customers to positively influence business decisions. All this, while being part of a dynamic, high-pace global business.

Contributing to the implementation of merchandising and trade marketing strategies. You will develop and implement channel-specific merchandising guidelines, analyse channel performance, and ensure compliance with merchandising. Additionally, you will play a vital role in financial management by providing inputs for local pricing strategies, maintaining accurate P&L reports, and managing budgets. You will build positive relationships with local direct account customers, lead negotiations with operators, and collaborate with domestic counterparts to drive successful business initiatives.

Who we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated ability in FMCG, with at least 6+ years in senior commercial management positions.
  • A consistent track record in leading key accounts, planning commercial strategies, and driving business growth is crucial.
  • A solid grasp of portfolio management, volume forecasting, inventory control, and profit optimization is key
  • Proficiency in trade marketing concepts such as merchandising, planogramming, and category management is a must
  • A strong understanding of financial aspects like pricing, margins, scenario analysis, and P&L management.
  • Effective communication, presentation, training, and negotiation skills are crucial,
  • Strong analytical and project management abilities.
