We're seeking an experienced leader to be a Manager of Change Management, reporting to the Group Head of Change Management, within Global Service & Reliability. You are part of Global Service & Reliability leadership teams, working in partnership with Group Technology and Group Product functions, ensuring protection of an excellent customer experience.

You'll work with country Group Directors, offering them a helicopter view of how we're enabling the safe delivery of safe change and platform reliability and will work with different teams to mitigate risk. You'll lead a strong team of Change Analysts to deliver this and work with your peers - in Incident and Assurance to together drive service excellence across the organisation

For this role we offer the hybrid working approach with 2 days a week onsite in Livingston or Leeds or London, Osterley office.

What you'll do

  • You will support Technology & Product teams, as well as external suppliers to implement highly reliable platforms services, with adequate environments and pipelines for change delivery.
  • Whilst driving better Change Management across all operational teams, you will be responsible for the management of all change, operating a world-class process for safe delivery, clear communications, and great collaboration across technical and business teams, as well as our suppliers.
  • You will ensure an effective level of communication and visibility for Sky's Leadership, allowing them to understand the impact and status of change related risk.
  • You will contribute to the development of a centre of expertise for Sky change and continuous improvement and lead the development of these capabilities and mindsets across the organisation.
  • You will contribute to the definition of vision, priorities and requirements for service reliability and process improvements around Change Delivery.
  • You will contribute to the delivery of continuous learning and improvement, mitigating future change and release risks to our services.

What you'll bring

  • Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to set a clear operational vision, define objectives, and motivate high-performing teams, fostering a strong culture of collaboration across the Sky Group, including leading virtual teams in a high-profile, fast-paced, multi-country environment.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering service excellence while managing competing priorities, addressing immediate risks, and handling multiple complex situations simultaneously in a Service Reliability or Service Operations environment.
  • Strong technical capability, with comfort working across a wide range of technologies and a deep understanding of complex architectures and platforms underpinning large-scale services, including DevOps, Agile and SRE practices.
  • Deep understanding of Service Management methodologies, including Change, Incident and Problem Management, Service Introduction and Service Assurance, with ITIL Foundation certification considered mandatory.
  • Significant stakeholder management and communication experience, with the credibility to build trust and effective working relationships at all levels, influence and lead diverse groups, and provide the right information to stakeholders and customers at the right time in a proactive, forward-thinking and innovative way.
  • Strong customer and service focus, combined with proven reporting and innovation capability, including extracting and manipulating data to identify trends and improvement opportunities, presenting insights to key stakeholders, and driving innovations that materially improve the efficiency and effectiveness of an ITIL function.

We also work closely with colleagues from across the business to help them innovate and deliver the unbeatable service our customers love.

The Team currently comprises 1 Manager Of, 5 Managers (UK and ITA), 6 UK based Senior Analysts and 1 Analyst and 4 CIEC (Chennai) Senior Analysts

Livingston Watermark House:

Our lively campus is a free shuttle bus away from Livingston North train station and the town centre. Plus there's onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.

Leeds:

Our spacious tech hub is under a mile away from Leeds train station. There's plenty of parking in the surrounding streets and at the nearby CitiPark.

You can also blow off steam over a game of pool or table tennis, and stay fit at our subsidised gym.

Osterley:

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There's also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

On campus, you'll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.
