Business Overview
Our Clients & Strategy team covers Business Development, Investor Relations, External Relations, Sustainable Investment and Brand, Marketing & Communications, including Internal Communications.
It is responsible for all communications to investor prospects, existing investors and their asset consultants, as well as a broad range of other stakeholders, including governments and media.

The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Manager, Brand Strategy & Corporate Campaigns to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Global Brand & Communications, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and execution of our brand strategy in line with IFMs growth ambition and strategic priorities. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and serving as the lead brand guardian to embed the firm's purpose, vision, mission and values; manage the brand identity; and deliver campaigns, this role will be pivotal in a delivering a compelling and differentiated brand in the market.
Main responsibilities
Brand Strategy
- Support the development and implementation of comprehensive brand strategies aligned with business objectives and target audiences across paid and owned channels to grow brand awareness.
- Support the development and implementation of an engaging corporate campaign strategy in North America and global brand campaign, and oversee its successful delivery, ensuring alignment with overall goals.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate brand strategy into broader organisational initiatives.
- Support the development of the employer brand strategy with People and Culture.
- Develop materials and documents to support Brand Steering Committee decision-making
Brand Management
- Act as the brand guardian, ensuring brand integrity and consistency in all communications and marketing materials.
- Work closely with the design team to explore, expand and educate IFM employees on brand standards and help their adoption.
- Expand and manage the IFM brand guidelines as required.
- Work with legal and commercial teams to ensure on-going governance and protection of the IFM brand.
Insight and Data
- Manage the annual brand survey and report on brand health and recommendations
- Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to continually refine brand strategies and messaging.
- Develop and implement a robust brand measurement framework, working closely with CX & Insights teams to assess brand effectiveness and ROI, providing actionable insights to optimise brand strategy and marketing efforts.
- Process and Governance
- Work closely with agencies, partners and commercial teams to ensure effective governance for projects, including development of campaign management processes and relationship management processes to successfully deliver initiatives
Your Background and Experience
- 7+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing, or related roles, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Brand, Business, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful brand strategies that drive business results.
- Strong campaign management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence cross-functional hybrid teams across global locations.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment whilst simultaneously managing multiple projects.
- Knowledge of B2B institutional and high-end private wealth audiences preferred.
- Experience in building strong relationships with agency partners in media planning, performance marketing, and creative development.
- Experience in delivering international campaigns, especially in North America and EMEA regions.
