Reporting to the AV Senior Manager and working closely with key stakeholders in the wider firm, this role has a focus on the day-to-day support and maintenance of audio-visual systems in the UK. This role is supported by a dedicated team of AV professionals providing support for incident and problem management alongside an AV event team providing direct client support in our event spaces.

You will provide technical expertise for project teams delivering new buildings as well as being the subject matter expert for changes and escalations.

This role requires a technical background in corporate audio-visual systems in the meeting room and event spaces. A background in service management to provide operational stability is key for this role.

The AV Manager will have responsibility for:

  • Day to day management of the 3rd line AV onsite support team.
  • Day to day management of the AV Event team.
  • Provide analysis and troubleshooting skills to help resolve more complex issues.
  • Maintain close working relationships with other areas of ITS, workplace services and Real Estate.
  • Provide activity and performance reporting to the management team.
  • Keeping up to date on the latest technologies and service best practices.

Essential skills

  • Experience administrating, maintaining, and supporting Microsoft Teams Room Systems on Windows and Android.
  • Experience with audio and video technologies such as
    • LED video walls
    • Projection
    • Audio DSP's (Qsys, BiAmp etc.)
    • AVoIP technologies
  • Experience with streaming solutions, both front end like Teams Town Hall and backend vision mixing and RTMP streaming protocols.
  • Experience working with enterprise network teams with a strong understanding of VLANs, Firewalls and Proxies.
  • Good understanding of basic IT device support on Windows, Mac and Mobile devices
  • Ability to create pro-active and re-active reports, owning CSI and problems until resolution.
  • Ability to Own, Investigate, Troubleshoot and Resolve Operational Issues

Desirable skills

  • Proficient knowledge of MS teams and Zoom Meeting and Webinar
  • Experience with digital whiteboarding tools such as Miro
  • PowerBi or Customer facing reporting experience.
  • Related accreditation such as CTS qualifications
  • Sound understanding of ITIL framework v3 or v4
