Financial Services at Moorhouse
As a Manager within our Financial Services practice, you will play a key role in delivering high-impact transformation across a range of FS clients. You will work directly with senior stakeholders to solve complex data, digital and technology challenges, shape engagements, and contribute to the continued growth of a fast-scaling, highly collaborative practice. You will have the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility from day one, working directly with clients, shaping delivery and contributing to the growth of our Digital & Data capability within Financial Services.

- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital, data and GenAI transformation programmes across Financial Services
- Define and deliver data strategy, digital roadmaps and target operating models aligned to measurable business outcomes (growth, efficiency, risk reduction, customer experience), including prioritisation, investment cases and value realisation
- Deliver data-driven solutions (MI/BI, analytics, dashboards) and GenAI-enabled use cases that drive measurable impact
- Support clients in embedding data governance, controls and best practices
- Translate business challenges into structured delivery plans, backlogs and roadmaps
- Act as a business integrator across clients, SIs and technology vendors to ensure business-led technology change, aligning delivery to outcomes and managing dependencies across the ecosystem
- Engage and own relationships with senior stakeholders and facilitate data-driven decision-making
- Contribute to business development, including proposals, RFP responses, client pitches and leading client conversations
- Contribute to thought leadership, developing perspectives on digital, data and GenAI trends impacting Financial Services and shaping our market positioning
- Lead, support and develop collaborative, high-performing teams, coaching junior consultants and contributing to capability growth
Experience
The successful candidate must be able to evidence:
- 6-8 years' prior experience working within a consulting environment is essential; this role is best suited to individuals with a consulting background
- Experience gained at a Big 4 or leading consulting firm strongly preferred, with demonstrable technical delivery capability
- Experience across one or more Financial Services sub-sectors (Banking, Payments, Insurance, Wealth & Asset Management), with a breadth of exposure preferred
- Strong understanding of digital, data and GenAI trends impacting Financial Services, and the ability to translate these into client opportunities and propositions
- Proven experience shaping and delivering data strategy, digital roadmaps and target operating models, translating capabilities into tangible business outcomes
- Strong understanding of data governance, analytics and modern data platforms (e.g. cloud, data warehousing, APIs, ETL/ELT) (desirable)
- Familiarity with industry data frameworks (e.g. DAMA, DCAM) and common tooling (e.g. Collibra, Informatica, Power BI) (desirable)
- Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments and applying structured delivery methodologies
- Familiarity with GenAI scaling considerations (use-case prioritisation, data readiness, Responsible AI) and awareness of emerging regulatory expectations (e.g. EU AI Act, UK AI regulation guidance, model risk management expectations in FS) (desirable)
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge at senior levels
- Demonstrable commercial acumen, including shaping client propositions, proactive business development and contributing to sales
- Experience leading and developing teams within complex, matrix-managed environments
- A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering sustainable client outcomes
