Management Accountant (Fixed-Term Contract - FTC) - London
Finance | Publicis Groupe UK
We are hiring a Management Accountant on a Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) to join our London Finance team and make an immediate impact. This is a clearly defined contract position, offering the opportunity to step into a hands-on role and contribute from day one. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you'll help deliver high-quality financial reporting, strengthen controls, and support business decisions across the organisation. If you enjoy bringing clarity to financial data and influencing outcomes, this FTC role offers meaningful and visible work.
What you'll be doing:
- Prepare and post month-end journals with accuracy and ownership
- Produce clear, insightful variance analysis across monthly and year-to-date performance
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure records are updated in Blackline
- Monitor and review expenses, including accruals and prepayments, supporting cost control
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles during the contract period
- Assist with audit and compliance requirements, ensuring documentation is complete and aligned to policy
- Partner with finance teams and stakeholders to improve reporting processes and outputs
Skills we're looking for:
- Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret and communicate financial data clearly
- Confident communicator who collaborates effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines with accuracy
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Comfortable working with financial systems and adapting quickly in a new environment
- Professional and collaborative approach, with a commitment to high standards
