Our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team are problem-solvers, sourcing, producing, and delivering our much-loved brands to delight customers around the globe. About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our dynamic team on the island of Islay, Scotland. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of our maintenance system. The key purpose of the role is to:

  • Ensure full compliance with all maintenance processes and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with site and engineering teams to plan and prioritise maintenance activities within required timeframes.
  • Facilitate health and safety discussions between maintenance and site teams.
  • Support and enhance the site's reliability maintenance strategies and SAP system compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organise maintenance work, ensuring alignment with site priorities and deadlines.
  • Update SAP and provide feedback for system improvements.
  • Generate detailed maintenance reports and provide trend analysis to support problem-solving initiatives.
  • Attend maintenance review meetings, providing SAP reports to aid in prioritisation and planning.
  • Uphold excellence in supply chain principles, ensuring adherence to Maintenance Management Systems (MMS) tools and techniques.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and updates in SAP to maintain system integrity.
  • Provide insights on reliability maintenance techniques and foster continuous improvement.

About You

We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates flexibility, excellent communication, and organisational skills.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Analytical skills and a keen ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptable to all levels within the organisation.
  • Proven organisational abilities to manage and prioritise a variety of tasks for yourself and the team.
  • Proficiency in maintenance systems such as SAP or similar.
  • Experienced in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • A meticulous approach to detail and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A driving license
  • Critical thinking with a forward-looking perspective on past, present, and future scenarios.
  • Proficiency in presenting data and insights effectively.
  • Knowledge of distilling and malting processes is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience in a production or service environment is also beneficial.
