Macro Space Manager
This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.
About the role:
At Lincolnshire Co-op, our Support Services team is dedicated to offering guidance and expertise across our business. Our Central Operations team is key to this, and we're now looking for a Macro Space Manager to join our team and take responsibility for optimising store layouts and space utilisation, ensuring alignment with our format blueprints, customer shopping missions and company standards.
As our Macro Space Manager, you will develop macro space allocation tables for various store formats, create layouts that maximise space efficiency, and ensure compliance with legal requirements (including HFSS, DDA, and health and safety regulations). A key part of this role will involve analysing customer behaviour, sales performance and market trends to inform decisions on space allocation and promotional placements. You will also oversee the sign-off process for cyclical refreshes and new store openings, ensuring local needs are met and store layouts are operationally aligned.
Collaboration is crucial in this role, as you'll work closely with merchandising, operations, and marketing teams to support product strategies and promotional activities. You will also contribute to data-driven insights for post-implementation reviews, monitor space allocation effectiveness, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
