Our Head Office Logistics Strategy Department is looking for a confident, ambitious, and analytical individual to join their growing team. You will be a fundamental part of the team providing project management and logistics consultancy to support the future growth of the Lidl GB logistics network. This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
• Project manage RDC installations and automation projects across the Lidl RDC network
• Planning and optimisation of our Logistics Network Strategy
• Drive innovation across HO depts to upgrade our Logistics infrastructure
• Plan and manage budgets for your respective project areas
• Support with the design, construction and operational set up of new Regional Distribution Centres. Provide reports, project updates and business support to international Logistics teams
• Engage, advise, and support stakeholders during the implementation of projects
• Provide knowledge to colleagues and stakeholders within the business who are in a specific field interfacing with their own area of responsibility (e.g., Warehouse Operational Logistics, Transport, IT System Support, Maintenance, HR, Procurement, Trading Compliance etc.)
• Execute projects in collaboration with the relevant international departments and stakeholders, ascertaining potential risks in projects, introducing preventative measures, and ensuring follow up

- Highly numerate with an analytical mindset
- Organised with an ability to manage own workload and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong communication skills and keen eye to detail
- Comfortable challenging the status quo
- Proactive and creative approach to business with an ability to consider the bigger picture
- A driven attitude to achieve high quality results
- Quick to learn new ideas and concepts
- Strong understanding and confident using Excel and PowerPoint
- Existing knowledge of logistics is essential
