Our Culligan UK Operations team is on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative Logistics and Operations Improvement Manager to join their ever-expanding team.

In this exciting role, you will take the lead in driving transformative initiatives to maximize efficiency, streamline processes, and foster continuous improvement across our logistics, field service, supply chain, and technical operations. We are seeking an exceptional candidate with a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of implementing long-term solutions that elevate performance and exceed customer expectations, all while significantly reducing operational costs.

Requirements

Process Improvement: Discover opportunities to enhance current processes by identifying areas that need improvement. Take action to resolve gaps and inefficiencies while eliminating activities that do not add value.

Continuous Improvement: Harness the power of Lean Six Sigma methodologies alongside cutting-edge improvement tools to uncover the underlying reasons behind challenges and implement lasting solutions. Foster collaboration among diverse teams from different departments, empowering them to work together to optimize operational practices and elevate the overall customer experience.

Technology & Innovation: Evaluation of technologies is crucial to identify solutions that can be effectively utilized within our operation to achieve automation, efficiency gains, cost reductions, and improved customer interactions. We need someone who can collaborate closely with all departments to ensure that the chosen solutions are implemented and embedded effectively and that the desired benefits are realized.

KPI Development: Revamping and fine-tuning our existing operational KPIs to make them more relevant and aligned with our broader business objectives. We'll also explore opportunities to automate KPIs and reporting, eliminating the need for manual data gathering and streamlining our reporting workflows.

Logistics Optimisation: Revolutionize transportation, warehousing, and distribution procedures by designing and executing ingenious strategies. Enhance operational efficiencies and slash costs through route optimization and fine-tuning delivery schedules.

Operations Improvement: Analyze the production, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes to uncover bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Then, come up with creative solutions to boost productivity, minimize waste, and significantly enhance overall operational performance.

Operations & Logistics Contingency: Identifying and evaluating potential risks to logistics and operations, and devising strategic plans to guarantee uninterrupted service.

Qualifications & Additional Requirements

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced operations & supply chain management environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in logistics software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and project management experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Flexible in approach to competing priorities and ability to adapt and work under pressure
  • Commitment to learning & development within the field of logistics, operations management & supply chain

Please note this is a hybrid role and you will be required to travel to different business site locations.
