The Role

At Sofina Foods, we're looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Logistics Manager to join us. This is a chance to take ownership of finished goods and material movements across two manufacturing sites and into third-party storage and retailer distribution, making a real impact on how we deliver for our customers. You'll play a key part in driving efficiency, shaping processes, and helping us continue to grow.

Please note this role is based onsite in Malton, 5 days a week.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who brings energy, resilience, and a continuous improvement mindset. You will have proven experience in a similar role, within a fast paced FMCG business.

In this role, you'll succeed by:

Your Key Responsibilities

You'll lead our logistics operations with a focus on improvement, efficiency, and customer service.

Key areas include:

  • Managing contracts and relationships with freight carriers, 3rd parties and retailers.
  • Developing and refining SOPs while ensuring KPIs and compliance are met.
  • Driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing approaches within logistics.
  • Leading contingency planning, reporting, and budget control.
  • Overseeing stock movements, distribution, and claims processes across internal and external networks.
