Job Description

NB The role will be based from one of our Logistics hubs (Bradford, Castle Donington or Welham Green) but most of the time will be spent working in partnership with our 3PLs on sites across the country so the successful candidate must be prepared to travel.

What you'll do

Your key accountabilities will include

  • Through robust data analysis of key data, and working with 3PL teams, identify and deliver improvements at site and network level
  • Report on progress to plan, collaborating closely with 3PL teams, finance and Operations Managers to validate benefits, understand viability of solutions and align all business partners to agreed output
  • Create and manage a forward pipeline of opportunities to maintain momentum on benefit delivery annually
  • Ensure all products are launched correctly, with the right level of communication and engagement is in place, and track the change results
  • Identify benefits & impacts, mitigate risks & issues, and deliver the operational change required for each product

Who you are

Your skills and experience will include

  • We will help the successful candidate develop some of these skills on the job and will provide training as and when the need arises but the core skills we are looking for are:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. With the ability to simplify messages, and influence across multiple teams throughout the business
  • Confident in dealing with daily ambiguity
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a wide objective portfolio and being able to focus on what's most important to support timely delivery on a weekly basis
  • Strong ability to use logic and data to back up recommendations and drive actions, including a good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

Our Logistics Teams are right at the heart of our ability to deliver the products our customers want through a service they love. As shopping habits continue to change, it has enabled our transformation into a truly multi-channel retailer. Milestones include the development of our own platform to give us greater control; the creation of an E-Commerce distribution centre; international websites and in-store technologies to improve the customer experience. Great marketing ensures we offer an inspirational and effective customer experience, which means we must understand how our customers want to shop our Clothing & Home products and present them in a compelling way - be that through store environment, packaging, POS décor, email marketing, social media, communications and SEO.
