About the Rol e:
The Head of Transformation Design will shape and drive the next chapter of Liberty Mutual Reinsurance's operational evolution to drive the development and execution of the COO roadmap, turning strategic ambition into reality.
This role is a unique opportunity to lead from the front, designing and orchestrating our transformation strategy alongside the LM Re COO. You'll own the vision and execution of our business architecture, performance management, and change frameworks. By identifying, designing, and mobilising high-impact initiatives, you'll connect business needs with innovative solutions and help shape a future-ready operations function.
This role will develop and lead business architecture and processes, coordinate with key stakeholders, and ensure alignment with the Global Risk Standards (GRS). Additionally, this role owns the operating models for Operations Strategy & Performance Management and Business Architecture, including managing intake, prioritization, and demand management for both technology and non-technology initiatives. This role will report into the Head of Transformation & Change Delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identifies, prioritizes, and designs strategic programs for the COO roadmap, aligning with business needs and technology opportunities.
• Develops business architecture and processes, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with GRS.
• Establishes and manages intake, prioritization, and demand management processes for both technology and non-technology initiatives.
• Has Op model ownership for:
• Operations Strategy & Performance Management
• Business Architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration across transformation activities.
• Ability to translate business strategy into transformational design.
• Systems thinking to understand enterprise wide impact.
• Scenario planning and future state design capability.
• Expertise in service design, design thinking or persona and journey mapping to translate future target states.
• User research and insight synthesis to guide transformation decisions.
• Alignment of process, people and technology to layer a strategy.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field is desirable
