Job Title: Lite Account Manager - North
Location: North UK
Contract: Permanent
Your role
Reporting directly to the Essilor Lite Commercial Manager UK&I, the Essilor Lite Account Manager will engage independent optician customers and local laboratories with commodity, white label lenses and associated solutions. Increasing the use of commodity lenses across the individuals defined region with new and existing accounts, never at the expense of branded EssilorLuxottica lens solutions or products. Always seeking opportunities to acquire new lens business directly or by finding ways to introduce other members of the EssilorLuxottica team to deliver growth. In accordance with the Company sales and marketing strategy to meet revenue targets, in accordance with the Company discount structure. To develop, build and maintain relationships that will develop sales of the Company's full product range in line with stated goals and forecasts. Ensuring that EssilorLuxottica is progressive and growing as the customers preferred supplier on territory across all channels of trade including third party laboratories.
Main responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for maintaining a consistent call programme in field for both Direct and Indirect Independent Accounts and Regional Laboratories.
- To sell in the commodity range of Essilor products across your geographical area to increase sales by ensuring that EssilorLuxottica becomes the preferred supplier of this lens category through negotiation with all relevant customer partners.
- To present all relevant marketing/commercial activity to key personnel agreeing actions and processes required to ensure its success, with a focus on securing commodity lens volume and associated opportunities.
- To regularly review regional whitespace opportunities and actively seek out new doors / points of sale. Ultimately securing lens volumes with a tailored commercial offering that reflects a customers commitment to volume and value of lenses.
- To maintain accurate customer records and reports for relevant accounts to ensure that sales data and market activity that can be analyzed accurately, recording all relevant information on company systems.
- To ensure that own portfolio and competitor product knowledge is maintained.
- To continually assess the market, maintaining customer and competitor records to identify opportunities and be able to provide call reports, monthly reports and forward planning sheets as required by the Sales Management team.
- Customer sales visits in the field is 80% of the role. At all times to act as an ambassador of EssilorLuxottica and its values, bringing colleagues into engage customers whenever appropriate. Health & Safety Responsibilities.
Main requirements:
- Experience of successful sales account management in related field.
- Proven ability to work on own initiative to tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to effectively analyze and interpret data.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Selling and negotiating techniques.
- Computer literate.
Desirable
- Knowledge of lens manufacturing processes, Company products and a good understanding of the UK optical market
- Optical Experience
