Salary range: Grade 16 £60,573 - £62,766 p.a. plus fantastic benefits
Contract: Permanent
Hours of work: 36 hours per week
Location: Croydon

We are looking for a passionate and effective Library Services Manager to lead the service through the next stage of our transformation.

Following a recent change in our service model, Croydon libraries now operate nine full time library buildings and an outreach service delivering activities and engagement across our communities. We are investing in our library buildings and developing our partnerships with Croydon's dynamic culture, health and community sectors.

This role will work strategically to continue developing our library offer, building relationships across the council and the borough to reach more residents with quality books, information, digital support and creative programmes and events.
The successful candidate will need strong partnership working and people management skills and be familiar with working with culturally diverse communities and people with different needs.
Experience managing budgets, developing funding applications and delivering funded projects is also important.
