Join our RWEST UK Apprenticeship Programme and you can be part of it. You'll spend 24 months studying towards the Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship Standard, including studying towards a recognised professional qualification with the International Project Management Association (IPMA). You'll get the chance to grow a career within the Project Management team of a large global organisation.
The contribution you'll make
Join a dynamic international team based in Germany and the UK, where you'll gain hands-on experience from the start. You'll take ownership of a workstream within a larger programme or manage a small IT-related project, primarily focused on application delivery, with some potential IT infrastructure elements.
From day one, you will be responsible for:
• Developing project business cases to ensure effective planning, requirement gathering, and benefit identification.
• Estimating project time and costs for inclusion in business cases.
• Preparing project budgets for approval.
• Creating and maintaining key project documentation.
• Managing approved project budgets.
• Overseeing month-end governance activities, ensuring accurate forecasts and accruals.
• Documenting and managing risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions in a RAID log.
• Producing clear and consistent project highlight reports.
• Organising and participating in project meetings, recording actions and decisions.
• Developing and maintaining a stakeholder communication plan.

• Enthusiasm and drive to complete your apprenticeship programme and seek out development opportunities within a supportive team
• The desire to work as part of a collaborative team, with a curious approach challenging yourself to find new solutions
• Time management skills to effectively and efficiently multi-task around changing priorities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle conflicting situations
• Ability to lead a small project team and ensure delegation of appropriate tasks
• A rational and organised approach to work
• Good written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective dialogue with customers, suppliers and partners
• The ability to work well within a team and build a project team.
• Good IT skills and experience with MS Office.
• The ability to balance work, study and other life commitments (you will be provided with the appropriate support and study time to achieve this
The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:
• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject, including maths and English
• A Level 3 qualification like a BTEC National or equivalent.
• OR Relevant experience in a project-related role, demonstrating basic project management skills.
