Countrywide have an exciting opportunity for a Lettings Area Manager / Director to join us running the Kent region.
This role will offer a competitive basic salary and substantial OTE as well as a company car/ car allowance and generous staff benefits depending on experience.
As a Lettings Area Manager / Director you will be working with the Head of Lettings South leading and overseeing the management of all 16 Kent lettings branches and colleagues within your region. This is one of the top regions within Countrywide Lettings. You will work to meet and exceed performance and financial targets set, through driving engagement, culture and collaboration amongst your teams.

Your role will involve:
- Coaching, developing and effectively managing all employees to ensure that performance is optimised and growth achieved.
- Ensure employee engagement is maximised through effective one to ones, action planning, pro-active recruitment, minimising attrition and driving retention of your teams.
- Manage, monitor and report on the region`s performance against agreed key financial business indicators on the region`s P&L and against set performance metrics to ensure delivery of income targets.
- Take appropriate action with branches trading at a loss or below budget.
- Grow market share significantly by adopting pro-active working processes and identifying business growth opportunities
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrable experience of building and leading high performing teams in fast paced and demanding target driven environments.
- Been a valued member of high performing teams within a highly customer centric service or retail industry environment.
- Proven ability to influence, shape and lead significant change.
- Inspirational leadership ability, with approachability and humility.
- High levels of profit & loss accountability and commercial exposure.
- Previous experience within similar environments is essential for this role of high responsibility.
