About the role:
The Lettings and Nominations Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of lettings and nominations, ensuring homes are allocated efficiently, compliantly, and with a strong customer focus. The role oversees Local Authority partnerships, drives team performance, and ensures high-quality, timely lettings outcomes.
The role is based in our Northampton office . We offer hybrid working with three days per week in the office and two days from home.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the full lettings and nominations process for newbuild and relet homes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Manage relationships with Local Authorities, acting as the senior operational contact for nominations and allocations.
- Ensure properties are advertised, allocated, and let within agreed timescales, minimising void periods.
- Lead, coach, and manage the lettings and nominations team to deliver performance targets.
- Maintain quality assurance, ensuring affordability checks, eligibility and tenancy sign-ups meet policy and regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement, using data and digital tools to enhance lettings processes and service delivery.
About you
- Strong operational knowledge of lettings, allocations, and Local Authority nomination processes
- Effective stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive performance improvements
- High proficiency in housing management systems and CRM platforms
- Relevant experience within a housing association, Registered Provider, Local Authority or private rented sector
- CIH Level 4 qualification or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience managing teams and delivering operational services
