The risk engine plays a pivotal role in guiding our customers' choices and must align with their performance and usability standards.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, your main responsibility will involve improving the risk engine and related services to provide a world-class experience to our customers. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in empowering other teams to further develop on this platform.

We are an agile team that values customer-focus and continuous learning. Your responsibilities will include:

• Own the design and deployment of software initiatives from conception to delivery, contributing to team strategy and roadmap.
• Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize areas for improvement.
• Provide mentorship to less experienced team members in both technical and non-technical aspects.
• Keeping up with the latest technologies and proposing innovative solutions to challenges.
• Advocating for sound software design principles and fostering a sense of ownership within your team or across multiple teams

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing SaaS applications, ideally in Rust or Python.
• Proficiency in system design: designing and building resilient and scalable services. You have a passion for system architecture, scalability of different components, and their interactions. You value simplicity and maintainability.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithm optimizations.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures in a microservice context is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile software processes, data-driven development
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to stakeholders
