About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Corporate Office within the Exceptional Homes Team in London, the Leisure Sales Manager is responsible for bringing sales leads, driving leisure sales from third parties agencies. The Manager is a great problem-solver, a self-starter and naturally creative, pragmatic, and collaborative.
We are looking for an individual with strong selling skills to help launch this product into the market and make an immediate sales impact. The Leisure Sales Manager will have strong understanding and experience in luxury hospitality and more specifically in leisure sales in the UK, European and Middle East markets.
As a Leisure Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
- Strategy: help define the overall vision, strategy, proposition and roadmap for the product launch and beyond
- Sales: Establish, maintain, and grow relationships with selected key leisure accounts via individual account management sales plans.
- Product Awareness: Build awareness of the product with the select leisure accounts, organize Fam Trips, events, presentations etc.
- Ambassador: Be an ambassador for Mandarin Oriental's customer-first approach
- Supports company's philosophy and company's culture through the use of Guiding Principles and D.E.L.I.G.H.T as part of ensuring Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
As a Leisure Sales Manager, we expect from you:
- Minimum of 4 years in luxury hospitality looking after leisure accounts, with a demonstrable track record in delivering results.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, charts and statistics.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills, with an ability to think outside of the box.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Comfortable working in an agile and constantly evolving environment .
- Self-starter with the ability to set direction and execute.
- Flexibility to work autonomously.
- Liaise with Regional Sales Offices worldwide.
