THE ROLE
The Leisure Club Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and development of the Leisure Club. The role requires a commercially driven individual with strong leadership skills, accountable for achieving membership sales and retention targets, delivering exceptional member experiences, and ensuring operational excellence and safety.
Commercial & Sales Performance
- Deliver membership sales in strict alignment with the company's sales policy and processes.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance, ensuring consistent achievement of conversion and revenue targets.
- Maximize commercial opportunities across memberships, personal training, group exercise, and ancillary services.
Member Engagement & Retention
- Design and implement member engagement initiatives to build loyalty and satisfaction.
- Monitor and address retention risk factors, ensuring proactive strategies are in place to reduce attrition.
- Lead the delivery of a high-quality service environment that strengthens member experience.
Operational Management
- Oversee all aspects of daily club operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring profitability and effective cost control.
- Ensure operational standards meet company policies, brand guidelines, and service expectations.
Sales & Commercial
- Achievement of monthly and annual membership sales targets.
- Demonstrated compliance with company sales policy and process.
- Growth in ancillary revenue streams.
- Achievement of the departments profit contribution to the Resort as per the annual budget.
Member Retention & Engagement
- Achievement of retention rate targets.
- Improved member satisfaction and engagement measures.
- Successful delivery of planned engagement activities and initiatives.
- Operational Performance
- Delivery of operations within agreed budget and efficiency parameters.
- Full compliance with legal, safety, and company standards.
- Positive audit and inspection outcomes.
Team Development
- Achievement of staff training and development objectives.
- Strong staff engagement and low turnover levels.
- Demonstrated team performance against set objectives.

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
- Proven experience in leisure, hospitality, or fitness club management.
- Strong commercial and sales acumen, with a track record of meeting financial targets.
- Demonstrated experience in member engagement and retention strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Strong organizational and financial management abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and compliance regulations.
