Lecturer Salary: £38,394 - £41,934 per annum
Senior Lecturer Salary:£44,477 - £56,292 per annum
Full Time /Fixed term contract for 6 months
The successful candidate will start in February 2025
About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Plant Ecology with specific knowledge and expertise in vegetation surveying. Alongside a detailed knowledge of land use ecology, relevant industry experience and research interest would be desirable but not essential.
You will be passionate about teaching,possessingexcellent communication skills, with the ability todeliver high quality teaching and learning to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. You will be devising innovative teaching and assessments, seminars and tutorials and you will support dissertation students in their projects.
You will have experience in theHE sector anddemonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, with theability to communicate ideas of a complex or technical nature to students effectively using a variety of teaching methods.
