Leasehold Senior Officer

The Leasehold Team helps and supports Sheffield City Council Leaseholders living in flats and maisonwettes originally purchased through the Right To Buy scheme.

The purpose of the Team is to:

Ensure that the Council fulfills its obligations under the Lease.

Lease management and enforcement of the Lease.

Work collaboratively across a range of internal services, external agencies and partners and other stakeholders to deliver a customer focussed service and Value for Money.

We are looking for individuals who are innovative and comfortable working with numbers and who ideally have experience of working in the Housing or Repairs Service. The suitable candidate will be expected to carryout site visits.

Full-time employees work 37 hours for 52 weeks of the year and we offer a generous holiday entitlement. We are open to discussions about a wide range of flexible working opportunities which benefit you and the Council, including reduced hour contracts, working part time or as a job share.

If you are appointed to this role, your starting salary will be at the bottom of the grade. If you provide payslip evidence that your basic pay is greater than the bottom of the grade, we will consider starting you at the point of minimum advantage within the grade.
